» Wed Jan 13, 2016 5:38 pm When I try to launch Fallout 4 I get a black screen with a loading icon in the center. This black screen never loads, and the only way to get out of it is to do ctrl, alt, delete, and re-log. This started occurring the very day I started playing Fallout 4, and came and gone every 4-5 days since. Now the black loading screen will not even let me play the game. I tried putting it in windowed mode, did not work. I verified game cache, backed up my files, even made sure there were no dangerous viruses on my computer, as well as other internet suggestions, with no success. I do use mods, and just in case they are the culprit (which honestly i doubt because this issue occurred long before I started using mods, but I could be wrong) I will put the changes I had to make to the INI. files to enable them.

This infinite black launching screen has prevented me from playing Fallout 4 for almost a week. I would hate to have spent money on something I cant play, so at this point I am becoming desperate. If anyone knows what I am talking about, please give me an idea on how to fix it. If I could give more detail I would, but I cant screenshot it, so this is all I can describe.
P.S. This may or may not be a double post. It kicked me back to the main part of the forums after attempting to post it, and I could not find it in my account history, so I am assuming my first attempt did not succeed.
