A few days ago, I received a settlement quest to help Sanctuary with their ghoul problem. The quest started, and I decided to do a few things before taking it out.

I finally FT to the quest location and as I arrive, another quest auto-starts and it's identical to the one I'm doing.

I take out the ghoul and the quest says to let settler know the quest is done. I return to Sanctuary, but the person who initiated the quest isn't the one I need to speak to. Instead, another settler is highlighted. Thinking it wouldn't matter, I talked to the settler who "completed" the quest, which now states I have to speak to Preston.

I talk to Preston, but rather than complete the quest, he gives me the exact same quest! So now, in my Pipboy, I have three listings of the same quest.

The problem is, I can't talk to Preston to close out the first quest, and worse, I can no longer de-select the other two quests. There are NO markers indicating where the ghouls are (though destination is set in Pipboy).

This evening, I intend to "finish" the two quests and hope this clears them all, but wanted to report something is very wrong that I've received the same three quests (one without a trigger event).

If anyone has experienced this, has any issues stemmed from it?

I do have a backup save just in case (prior to the second quest showing up), though I'll lose two hours of game play.

Just thought I'd report this as a bug.
