Update erased all data.

So I haven't played in about 2 weeks. I was towards the end of the game, played for about 100 hours. I haven't connected my xbox to the Internet during the entire game play. Today I decide to finish the game. I put it in while connected to the Internet, and I update fallout for the 1st time since November 10th. I get on the start screen, and the load option isn't highlighted. I go to storage and go to fallout and hit manage game, and it has 4 kbs of data on fallout. In other words all of my 30 or more saves are gone. I'm pretty confident there is no way to fix this. I am not planning on replaying tyne game. Nor will I buy any future Bethesda games. I was the biggest fallout fan I know, and now because I foolishly updated, I have nothings to show for all of the hours I put into this. Any help would be welcomed, but I'm not confident it's fixable

The same thing happened to me.

I got my saves back by going offline and restarting my xbox. They were all there, though now I can't save and if I try to save over a previous game it simply deletes the previous one without saving a new one.
