Specific question about settlement size

Post » Thu Jan 14, 2016 2:30 am

So I built up my sanctuary settlement a lot. Almost to the settlement size max.

I decided I'd build up the castle next. Except the settlement size is alread nearly at max. Will let me place about 25 things and then it's maxed.

Does the size of one settlement affect the total alloted size of other settlements? If I tear down my sanctuary settlement, will it give me more room to build at the castle?

It's the only reason I can think of that the room to build the castle would be so small.

Thanks in advance.

Tore down my sanctuary base (from a previous save), did not affect the castle settlement size. So basically they give you very little room to build...

Now the question is whether to implement to glitch to increase settlement size...

Each one has it's own set size.

You can use the glitch to drop and scrap things inside the settlement to get more room. The only problem is that eventually you'll start getting frame-rate drops.

It's a shame they don't give more space for the castle, which is kind of a great base to build.

Besides frame rate drop, I've heard about saved games becoming corrupted. How big of a concern is that on the Xbox One?

Thanks for the reply
