Don't make any more mods, please.

I'm up to 57 mods in my Nexus and I think the limit is 100, if that being the case, I'll past that limit before the GECK comes out.

So, either hide the mods from me or make the mod that I don't like.

Heh, you think you've got it bad now, just you wait until the CK comes out!

If it's anything like the previous Bethesda games, mod limit is actually 255.

If I had to guess, I'd say they changed the mod limit with the release of the 64bit executable.

It hasn't changed, formids are still 32 bit so 255 will again be the limit, 255 will be reserved for the save game in use leaving 254, zero will be the game itself leaving 253 plugin slots for DLCs and Mods plugins.

However, New Vegas starts having issues for me at around 150 plugins, so system specific limits may be lower from the technical one.

Could always try to merge your favourite mods in one go?

:lmao:

Pity. I was in the process to make the most awesome mod ever, but I think I'll take down the project.

As has already been pointed out the physical mod limit is 255 mods. However, this does not include mods like texture replacers that have no plug-ins or .esp files.

I was using literally thousands of different mods in Morrowind. I kept having to combine ESP's, and after learning how to properly maintain a modded game with tools like Wrye Mash, TES Edit, BOSS, LOOT, and the CK, it ran like butter. Not to worry.
