Seasons greetings guys.



I have bought fallout 4 from CDKeys, and downloaded from Steam (first time user). I start A new game, Nate appears in the steamed mirror, and starts talking to himself, and then he just stares into the mirror, with no options to do anything. The mouse does nothing, and pressing every key on the keyboard, again does nothing.

Looking on YouTube, I see Nora should be behind his right shoulder when he is speaking, and an options bar populates around his neck line, but this is not happening for me.

Is there any fix for this or will I need to delete and re download the whole thing again!?

Try verifying the game cache

I had to do this when I tried to install the game, and it took approx half hour. Should I do it again?

Verifying the game cache shouldn't take that long, as its just checking the files. However, if a lot of files are corrupted it may take a while to re-download them depending on your Internet connections speed.

First, try simply restarting your computer.

Yes do that verify thing, and then start a new character. (again)

It worked!! I verified it again, and itindeed identified a fwrong ile, downloaded it, boom......Houston we have lift off.
