Can't get it to run on a 27" Imac running Windows 10

Post » Thu Jan 14, 2016 1:10 pm

I'm running both current versions of Window 10 and Parallels.

My Imac Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014

4 GHz Intel Core i7

32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB

Can I make this work?

It wouldn't be supported, but maybe. Might be tricky to find help for.

What you mean both current versions of W10 and parallels?

Doesn't came with OS X Yosemite installed?

You did a W10 installation through Boot camp assistant, right?

Don't use parallels. Use boot camp to partition and install Windows. Boot into windows and install Fallout 4.

Parallels is a VM. It is useful for switching quickly between Mac OS and Windows, but it may not load the proper drivers. Also Parallels 8 only supports dx10 and newer versions don't mention additional directx support.

Edit. Fallout 4 requires dx11.
