Hi all,

Lately, I've been getting a lot of loading screens that never end. This has happened when fast traveling to a new location and when entering/exiting buildings. I have to close the game via task manager when it happens.

It doesn't happen with every loading screen, seems to be random. Funny thing is, I played this game for over 60 hours without this bug ever occurring--seems like it just started happening for some reason.

I meet all of the recommended system specs and have no other issues with the game, it runs great.

Anyone else having this problem? Any help would be much appreciated, this bug is starting to ruin an otherwise great game!

Messing with the timescale in console?

You can try reinstalling the game. Also, since you do that, you can install it back on a SSD if you have one.

I've had some bugs in the past and reinstalling solved them for me. Also, on my first playthrough I had my carryweight to about 50.000 and had many items on me. That was increasing the loading times by a lot. As soon as I dumped the items in the workshop, the loading times went back to normal.

I haven't changed anything in the console or installed any mods.

When the bug happens, I'm stuck in the loading screen indefinitely (load times aren't just longer).

Really hoping I won't have to reinstall, I've invested a LOT of time into my current game...

Try turning off auto-saves.

Alternatively, have you tried running the game in borderless windowed mode?
