Was going to get rid of my follower the other day but every time I try to talk to them I hear a click sound(from the button press) and then nothing. Cant talk about "what they think", "relationship", "Dismiss". None of that comes up. I managed to switch who my follower was but the new follower will not open the talk menu either.

The trade window sometimes also fails to open.

Im not sure when this started but the only thing of note that had happened was that I was in a romantic relationship with one person and then got into a romantic relationship with a second person.

I have reloaded the game. I have closed the app. I have shut off my ps4. Nothing is helping. This problem has been constant for the past couple of days.

Maybe i'm dumb for suggesting this.... But, are you letting them finish saying stuff before you press talk? Example: When you press interact on Codsworth, he'll usually say something like "Mister/Miss [BLANK]?" But if you press talk while he is saying that it will make a click and clos the wheel. So, maybe wait a few seconds after they finish talking, or let them finish to begin with then try to select the "talk" option. Not sure if that helps, just a common thing i seem to do sometimes

Yup. I do both. I let them say whatever default greeting they have and I have also specifically tried to interrupt them. Had this bug for days now. It is becoming a huge problem because I am finding new followers and I cant interact with them to find out their stories and stuff.

Interesting.. Thats a new one on me, i affraid... I'v had to re start the entire game twice because of bugs and stuff, and i still lose companions/traders/settles from time to time. To be honest, i think us console folk are just gonna have to wait until bethesda themselves actually fix the followers because lets be completely honest, this system is VERY last gen and VERY bad.
