Life changing decisions (SPOILERS)!

Post » Sat Jan 16, 2016 8:45 am

Okay I have come to the point in the game where I have to make the decisions on which side to chose. The Railroad, the Brotherhood of Steel, or the dreaded Institute. If any one has come to this point yet and made their decision i want the most action as possible with some drama, and wondering which side to chose. Father has given me the choice to destroy the Railroad and stay in the Institute. Or am I making the better decision to stay with the Brotherhood. Open to ideas. (Please feel free to correct any grammar mistakes in this as well need to work on my English skills.)

I have no life so I have done all the endings. My favorite is the one you did not mention.

Most action and drama would probably have to be the Brotherhood with doing the Institute missions until a certain major mission.

My thought is, destroying three is better than destroying two, isn't it? For the freedom. I destroyed the Railroad, with much pleasure. I'm before the Mass Fusion quest. I plan to destroy the Institute (although it's impressive) and then, with the help of the Minutemen, the conqueror BoS. I hope this is possible. Or better still, first destroy BoS and then the Institute? I wonder wether this would be possible too.

If your not planning more playthroughs, I'd try each ending.

I went with BOS (with the Minutemen surviving) for my first playthrough, mainly due to the fact that I had my main base at the airport and its a good ending if you want the population to love you since they fall over themselves to thank you for ending the Institute and despite what some people seem to think no sign of tyrannical rule breaking out, beyond the flying of BOS flags over Diamond City with DC security still in control and only a couple of BOS members on a trading run (a Scribe and a Knight).

I'll be starting my next playthroughs soon to experience the institute, Railroad, Minutemen and then I'll try the one that leave the BOS, Railroad and Minutemen intact.

Remember, a wise railroad companion once said...

"But I had a point here. A lesson, if you will. There're other organizations out there. And, in time, I'm sure they're going to spoon-feed you their own patented form of bull. Ignore the verbage and look at what they're doing. What they're asking you to do. What sort of world they'd have you build and how they're going to pay for it."

There is a way to still be part of the railroad and brotherhood via the Minutemen, so there is that option, or if you plan on playing again pick a side and go with it, or just make a few different saves, but drama and action I'd say maybe Institute, the last part of taking out the brotherhood can be pretty intense towards the end.

I've done Minutemen and Institute and working towards Railroad next myself, may not do the brotherhood as hanging out with Deacon has really grown on me heh.

I did the BoS first (with MM surviving), then the RR (nutcases) and then the Institute.

The more Bang for your buck would be the BoS.

The RR more less covertly take out the other factions with bombs and rebellions (takes forever it seems). The Institute does give you a hell of a battle at the airport, but taking out the RR is the same slaughter you get playing the BoS.
