Has anyone else found a synth infiltrator in their settlements?

At my sanctuary my happiness was slowly going down and I would find murdered settlers with no indication of a raider attack, and having very high defence, food, and water.

Eventually I figured out that I had a synth posing as a settler, noticed it when I targeted her with VATS perk and she had a energy resistance of 50 something when everyone else had little to none. Saved game killed her sure enough synth component found on her body. Happiness went back up after I left. (quickly the other settlers weren't happy)

For those of you who haven't found it, go to the warwick settlement and look in the big water vats behind the main building. I'll say no more so you can find it for yourself.

Settlers got murdered? I just know when i have a Infiltrator when he starts attacking my Settlement but i never noticed any other Death.

I had a damn synth Brahmin infiltrator. No joke.

You need to buy a dog, a la the first Terminator movies.

Attacks on settlements are random. Synth infiltration usually happen at lower levels, at least that's been my experience.

I just had one at lvl 63, my first. Well, it was more of a lynching, than a successful infiltration.

Least a synth Brahim makes more sense than making a synth gorilla.

He certainly tasted better.
