OK so I decided to side with BoS against RR and killed them all (I felt a bit bad doing it). So Desdemona is dead.


I now have two weird quest issues. One was a dead drop that I couldn't complete (Des wouldn't give me the dialogue when she was alive), but then I got the rest of the quest after killing her. Problem is I've now finished the quest it's asking me to turn it into Des, but she's just in a heap of dead RR bodies. How do I turn in a quest to a dead person?


The other thing is that it seems to have triggered the Form Ranks quest, which you get early on when you have no settlements. I have all of them and they're all built up and connected via Provisioners. Is this quest happening at the wrong time or is there some other way to 'recruit more settlements' as the text describes? (I can't see how as I already have them all).

The quest should have failed, but hasn't for some reason, and I believe the form ranks quest is for a Minutemen attack on the Institute. Some quests are sort of linked to others so I would just continue playing as It will most likely clear later in the main quest.

Might be stuck in the journal forever, though --- I still have a miscellaneous quest note to pay Marovski 2,000 caps even though he's been dead for a long time (by my hand).
