What to do after ending?

Post » Sat Jan 16, 2016 2:54 am

I think I may have beaten the game too fast, and missed a bunch of missions. What is there to do after an ending? Can I find more missions?

Yes there is more to do. You can still just explore where you haven't been and find side quests, and whatever faction you went with should have some quest givers.

My first character was probably around 75 when I finally finished the MQ LOL She's now 84, the Rail Road had some new missions after the ending and I'm still doing BoS and Minutemen quests, and just exploring every corner of the Commonwealth. Also, there are several quests in Diamond City and Goodneighbor. You can also find quests by just exploring certain areas.

Make sure you finish all the quests, then gather every magazine and comic book. Get every bobble head.

Then build the biggest, most elaborate castle for yourself.

I've nearly finished mine out on Spectacle Island where I've turned off the Settler Recruitment Beacon and have only the minimal amount of staff needed to run the place.

Solitude, a garage to tinker on my power armor, and a view of the ocean and the Prydwen.

I've been doing side quests and wandering off to random places after the ending.

Mod the game to suit the end game you feel it should have, because there's very little.

Start a new character with a different play style, and do the quests in a different order.

Also, did you side with one faction early on? If so, consider trying all the factions before committing. You'll get a lot more content.

Use different companions, especially ones tied to factions you may not have tried.

Invest in different perks.

For me, these things can also really change the dynamics of the game.

Gain new settlements and build them up.

I sided with one faction way too early. I think I'll start another play through and complete as many side quest as possible.

I finished at level 53.

Do the community-hated Radiant Quests and see how helpful it is to keep you busy in post-ending.

Otherwise, reload a save game and do another story branches, just like what I'm doing now. I lost many nice stuff, but eventually get another cool ones in my current playthrough.

same, have played this game til I was blue in the face. Actually went back to witcher 3 that I didn't finish because I got it only shortly before this game. Also waiting on official mod support to really see what the community can churn out.
