Have tried suggested fixes including; sleeping, fast travel, doning power armor, activating another stealth boy and letting it run out, all have failed to get me out of stealth field. I have the game set up to auto save but for some reason the only showing save is 20 some hours 11 levels ago. I do not want to have to start from this point and would appreciate Any advice or help.

That would be foolish of me. I do make it a practice to save often. I just use auto save as more of a fail safe, though at times (like this one) I didn't take the time to save as I should. In my years of experience I have learned the necessity to save and it's value, sometimes the hard way e.g. Thank you for the advice and the reminder.
