nobody forced you to do the opitonal quest - i didnt...but i think they could have explored the story a bit more...

At first I read this as "Shelly Mars", one of our forum members. I was like "oh no! What happened!"

I killed her the first time and instantly realized "oops that was an innocent person" so I reloaded.

The second time I did the quest I had Hancock with me the whole time which made things interesting.

The 500 caps are nice! You also don't know if she is innocent either. I wish you could more info on this bounty, who offered it, etc. Hell, would be cool to get even more bounties from the source. They missed a chance to explain more of this story for sure.
