Ban NPC from settlements?

Is it possible to kick Trashcan Carla out of my settlements?

Spoiler
I don't like her around since infiltrated the Institute...

Keep your settlement defense strong,

Also good to place defenses near fast travel points if the fast travel arrival point is inside it.

The travelling vendors are not a threat, considering people always talk.

I've seen carla die several times...she always comes back. Don't think anything short of targeting her via console and using the disable command will get rid of her for good.

Heh. That full list on the Institute computers is basically every traveling vendor out there (Lucas, Cricket, Carla, et al). The Institute is paying them all for information on the surface. I doubt they're getting more than basic gossip.

When I saw that, I laughed. I doubt any of them know the others are on the payroll, either. They all hub out of Bunker Hill, which is a Railroad safehouse, making it even more ironic.

Yeah, I travelling merchants are "informants" in the sense that they meet a lot of people. They're not actual Institute members. Wouldn't think too much about it.

Or you can kill her, although I fail to see how that makes your moral choices much better than the Institute's...

She did. Got caught in a missile launcher attack. Seriously, I was aiming for the Synths attacking ME!

You do understand that there is absolutely no tangible reason to actually want to do this right?

I wish you could, I'd banish Marcy Long in a heartbeat.

Damn ingrate, she can just go build her own home, and defend it herself.

After some testing within my settlement...

If she has an accident with a .50 Cal. fast moving lead object, everyone hates me. My settlers will attack her Bull and if I kick in to kill the Bull, all hell breaks loose and even Piper starts to attack me and my settlers attack the followers in the camp or followers each other. Even if I do this from 400-600m away with a suppressor on the rifle, hidden in the bushes.

p.s. that is ~22 settlers/followers + 5 robots fighting each other over the death of that woman.

I killed the Thrashcan woman early as I was poor and wanted to change that. Never saw her again.

.50 cal is 1/? inch bullet, not 0.50mm :)

Couldn't kill a bloatfly with 0.50mm lol

Maybe try it next time during an attack on that settlement. I accidentally killed some settlers, and no one bothers

All that junk to waste... on second thought, her eyes of either lack of sleep or drugs, shoot her in the face :P Seriously, no matter what she is one of the best of junk material merchants and leave the option of judgement to you.

I accidentally killed Carla once, at my home base of RR.

I had planted a defensive minefield along the side of the road from Sanctuary Hills, to block an access point being taken by raiding Super Muties. Little did I know (or bother to check) that the traders and provisioners were taking that same path from the opposite direction.

Traders like ... Trash can Carla.

Ka BOOM.

After hitting my mine, all my other auto-defenses classed Carla as "hostile", so they machine-gunned her and her Brahmin.

Fortunately, I save as soon as I get home because, well, stuff like this. So through the magic of LOAD, Carla and her sunny outlook on life were restored to the world.

Mines...!!!

Thank you, I'll try that later... even though the Institute is dead in the meantime, you never know what evil plans Trashcan Carla is up to.
