I have recently brought Fallout 4, and can't start a game. It launches alright, but then gets just after the 'Press any key to start', and then doesn't do anything. Please help!!!

Re-Install the game, or perhaps try verify game files via Steam.

Also, what system, console or PC? If PC, does you spec's meet at least minimum requirements?

And do your PC meet the minimum requirements for playing the game?

You can see minimum and recommended spec's here;

Do you have any game controllers plugged into your pc?

If so unplug them so that you can use the mouse, keyboard.

If that is the case some info here.

If you are using windows, use the event log to see what program terminated, and what the error code is. Then use google to find out what that error code means.

The event log can be found in windows, under control panel -administration - event viewer (I think it is named, have danish windows so a bit of guess work here)

Also, did you try re-install the game or did you only verify the game files? A full re-install might do the trick, and when installing, turn off all security programs (firewall if other than windows own, and anti-virus etc.)

Edit: I can see pugsley100 have a suggestion as well. If that works, ignore the above.
