Vault-Tec Headquarters DLC

Posted in another topic, but figured I'd just make this its own topic....

Vault-Tec Headquarters DLC:

I think this would be amazing for not just lore, but imagine being able to see complete lists of all the vaults across the country. Every vault is pretty much a science/social experiment, why not get a view from the guys who actually ran things. It wouldn't be just a single building, but an entire campus with its own underground tunnels and separate districts. You could have it being raided by a company size BoS element, but due to the automatic defenses, they lost all communications with the commonwealth. Inside it would have everything from heavy turrets defending everything, to a Vault-Tec faction and even have those underground tunnels filled with ghouls.

You could even have the community come up with the different experiments in each vault. What would be all of your guys pitches for a vault experiment?

I feel like their will be a guy like Mr.House keped alive and controlling everything or that they planned the whole war but ironically did not survive the blast.

I like the idea other than having a list of all the Vaults across the country. A list like that would just kill the future freedom of making vaults in Fallout 5 or other future titles and mods that people make. Having the mystery of over 60 vaults out there we don't know anything about is needed in the Fallout Universe.

But I would really like to see more about Vault-Tec.

I would be super excited if there were to be pre-war elements to it, with flash backs of things the player character had seen and heard back in the 2070s but never though much of, but now after the fact and while exploring the Vault-Tec headquarters, the puzzle pieces start coming together and you realize how much you and the general public had been fooled.

After they released that Fallout 4 would have a pre-war element, I was really hoping for a Vault-Tec conspiracy plot or something where the player was a detective pre-war and was trying to bring down the mad scientists at Vault-Tec after discovering their plans to experiment on people. But during the process of his/her investigation the bombs go off and the player ends up stuck in the Vault they were investigating... I though it was a fun idea.

So basically, I would really like a Vault-Tec DLC that is about 60% set in 2287 and 40% set in 2077.

I think it should be a Vault-Tec headquarters that is underwater. You have to travel to those weird silos underwater. you go inside and find tunnels running all over the commonwealth similar to how Blackreach in skyrim spans a great distance.

I'd definitely agree with not having a full list, it was more of an idea to see what other people were thinking when it came to what could be done with a vault experiment of their own. Possibly bring back the virtual reality chambers from Fallout 3 as a means of getting further into the headquarters, like in the sense of having to locate a password or something to unlock the next area of the Vault-Tec HQ.
