Bethesda Support?

Post » Sat Jan 16, 2016 10:55 pm

So I am trying to get Fallout 4 to work on my PC, and I have been having a lot of issues. I have browsed through all the forums and nothing I do can fix this game. So I did what any normal person would do and I sent an email to the Bethesda support team explaining my issues to see if someone would contact me back with a potential fix, or at least some news. Instead I received an automated email telling me to go check the forums... So I thought maybe I had missed something so I went back through all the forums, and the youtube videos, and messaging friends who had gotten their games to work all to no avail. I decided to send support another email which I spent a long time typing out and trying to explain everything I could to the best of my abilities only to receive another automated email telling me to check the forums. So my question is, how does one actually get in touch with someone at Bethesda these days? Or am I better off just getting a refund and saying f it?

Try asking on the forums for help.

If you go to the Hardware and Software issues under Fallout 4 here on the forum and then make a topic under PC you will get some help. Probably from other forumites.

You won't find much help here; this is general discussion.

Try posting your deets http://www.gamesas.com/forum/322-pc/. Make sure to specificy the hardware your computer uses as it will be undoubtedly the first information the helpers there ask for. For Windows, the easiest way to do that is "Run..." (shortcut Windows+R) and enter 'dxdiag'. System and Display will be the two tabs they're most interested in. (Probably best to hit Save All Information, then put the text of the resulting file in a spoiler tag.)

This is assuming the 'issues' are installation/startup related, because you did not even pretend to specify. (Send to ask on the forums for game help: asked on the forums about forum asking instead?) If it is a quest bug, or broken factions, it may just be a game bug and you'll need to revert to a previous save, yadda yadda etc etc.
