What does the 3 status symbols mean? I spent some time googling and cannot find the answer so I made a acccount..



One is a shield which is defense rating I assume , lightning and triangular circle

Shield is ballistic, lightning is energy, hazard is radiation

Also to help you out there is nifty help feature in the game menu (save screen) that has a pretty good index of content features.

and bleeding damage is the rain drop.

That's poison - which I've only ever seen on the Tooth, anyway.

Bleeding damage doesn't actually have a simple - from Combat Knife, from Tooth, or from Legendary Mod, bleeding is merely a listed effect - not a tabled one. The damage is there for sure, but not labelled like ballistic/energy/rad is.

I don't mean to make fun, but "triangular circle" made me laugh more than it should have.

To answer your question it's the International Ionizing Radiation hazard symbol (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ionizing_radiation). It's used in game to represent your current resistance level to radiation.

How long time does poision last for?

have an bleeding minigun and it looks like the 25 DoT is for 4-5 seconds.

Awesome weapon but not so good against an charging deathclaw, next time I will aim for the legs

I can already tell you that a bleeding minigun is amazing, because the bleed effects STACKS - the higher your ROF, the more you wreck face.

As for details, let me pull up FO4edit....

...poison mod says 3 for 10 sec. So a total poison damage of 30. Bleeding is 5 for 5 seconds, total 25.

So poison is slower than the bleed, but overall more. (I'd still say bleed is superior, since it is faster and nothing resists it, whereas poison is ineffective against many wildlife creatures, deathclaws and radscorpions included..)
