"Screw this I'm making jet!"

Alright, so I think I've hit the wall...my tolerance for the minuteman and their absolutely stupid "General another settlement (WHICH YOU JUST [censored] SAVED) needs our help!" has reached a breaking point.

I lost the allegiance of a settlement today, and frankly I could care less because it was the "kidnap x 1000000" one that I kept going back to. When I stopped crafting with them, I honestly wanted to burn the village to the ground...but then Preston said "hey these guys need our help" AND IT WAS ANOTHER KIDNAPPING FROM MY NOW EX SETTLEMENT!

Right....so I decided that no matter what I do...how hard I work...I can never actually do anything/lose with settlements. - which defeats the purpose of them.

Well I went to Diamond City, got some reconstructive surgery to look like a certain bald headed drug king pin (those guides are useful) and re-purposed the castle into a massive drug factory.

I'm also changing the flashing sign to "HEISENBERG"

The settlement where you constructed 100 heavy laser turrets and where you equipped all your settlers with X-01 Power Armor and Gatling lasers needs your help, cause 2 level 3 raiders equipped with pipe pistols are attacking :D

I think a couple of days ago a mod popped up at the Nexus that gave you the ability to disable the help quests.

Found it: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7277/?

Haven't tested it yet though.

got to ask yourself, how did Beth play the game for hundreds of hours in testing and not notice this issue?

I've set up all settlements I can now and only 5 or 6 of them have any settlers because of how bad the system is. After wiping out all the super mutants, ghouls and raiders in half the map near a settlement why would they keep moving back in and trying the same thing that got the others killed...

Does it really get that bad....... I'm only level 15....and just a few settlements... I've still got a settlement on my to do list.

Maybe if you just left such quests to-do, do you think that would solve the problem?

I don't mind doing a few..... but I want to do other things as well.

I put machine guns at the settlements I completed. Does that not help.

I've yet to use jet, but found it quite funny when I turned around after hearing a whooshing sound to see Nick pumping jet into his mouth. Three in a row!
