At some point since visiting vault 81 and during my time working through 'hole in the wall' quest, a pretty serious bug has occurred, which means that I can't start up conversations with any NPC's. Either they will just stand totally idle and make no response, or occasionally shop keepers will mouth silently at me before getting the barter option appear.

I can still hear some background noises, but others have totally disappeared (like footsteps / the sound from radiation sensors at vault 81 entrance).

I can actually trigger these missing sounds/conversation snippets, but only by opening my pip boy, which pauses the game and means I can't do anything other than listen to them.

This is a game breaking bug, as there are 2 quests inside vault 81 that I now can't complete, because I can't initiate a conversation.

Since I'm a ps4 user, and have no access to console or ability to play around with files/refresh installs, etc does this mean my save game is now ruined? Has anybody else experienced this issue and found a fix?
