I want to start a second FO4 game on my XboxOne. I have a Gold membership. I cannot add myself to my own family. I want to be able to keep playing my first game, so I do not want to lose it. How do I share my account with myself? Would someone please explain the mechanics of signing myself in as a guest or a second user of my console. Thank you! I have tried to do this on my own for several days, and Microsoft won't permit what I am trying to do. Should be a simple process, because I read on this forum about folks playing as multiple characters.

You don't have to do all that. Just start a new game. The game keeps the characters separate for you. When loading you hit Y to toggle between different characters saves.

just make sure you hit load with the character not continue, continue option will put all saves together and you will have to remember not to hit save on your other character. Loading by selecting the character name will seperate the two character saves.
