... has anyone noted that the central community/focus area in both FO3 and FO4 is "D.C."?

Hah, that is interesting... There were several moments in the FO4 forums where I seriously thought people were referencing Washington, DC, not Diamond City. XD I haven't played FO3, but I at least know where it takes place.

You could also say surrounding areas are both "commonwealths" too.

Every time I see or hear Diamond City called DC my first thought is always Washington DC.
