Beth needs help with quest ideas!

Hi Bethesda,

If I go to Finch Farms one more time and talk to a clueless Abraham I'm going to kidnap him myself, stuff him to some locker inside the Corvega assembly plant, then go back and steal all their food.

Here is my compilation of possible quest ideas that you can have for free.

- You find a malfunctioning synth, repair it, it then becomes your bff who one day accompanies you to Diamond City where all kinds of craziness and paranoia ensues.

- How about someone gets trapped in debris somewhere in the Collapsed Factory in the glowing sea area and you volunteer to find them?

- Exposure to radiation in a certain area turns you into a super mutant, and for a while it's fun playing as one, but then you have to seek a special serum that has been locked away for years in Cambridge Polymer Labs.

- Young Shaun would like a baby deathclaw to raise and you have to go on a journey to get an egg for him to put in the new incubator he made out of an old typewriter and lamp.

- Town meeting in Sanctuary - I'm not sure what the meeting is about, but it's a starting place to an excellent quest.

- You find a newborn molerat and it thinks you are its mother so it follows you around and ultimately you have to reunite it with it's scary Molerat mother that wants to chew your face off so it's a delicate stealth operation.

- Sanctuary's radiation levels are increasing for some unknown reason! Some of the settlers are turning into ghouls. Do you shoot them? Do you try to herd them into a cave? Do you just turn the other cheek? What mysteries will you discover when you try to find the source of the radiation?

I have a thousand other amazing ideas, but you'll have to hire me Beth. Yes, I will relocate! As a bonus I have dual Bachelor's in Programming and Graphic Design. You know how to reach me. I'll be waiting patiently for word.

All of these seem like really good quest mods :) Question is, when will we hear anything about a G.E.C.K.

Some of these could be briefly entertaining. They sound a bit too cheesy for me personally though. I'm not going to let Shaun raise a deathclaw in my settlement, and I would have absolutely no motivation to return a baby mole rat to its mother.

Regarding turning into a super mutant...super mutants weren't created by radiation. They were created by the Forced Evolutionary Virus. There already is a serum for it, and it's not at Cambridge Polymer Labs. It wouldn't make sense for it to be there. Cambridge Polymer Labs is a materials research facility. They have absolutely nothing to do with medicine or biology in any sense at all.

I was being a wee bit sarcastic in regard to the radiant quests. Sorry for the confusion. ?? I didn't really think Bethesda would be scrambling to produce a dlc with my 5 minute rambling of half baked quest ideas.

:lmao:

Well some of these are definitely better than some of the quests I've been doing lately.

Other than the FLL3 Turbopump Bearings I need to find, all I can seem to find are radiants.

Time to randomly explore I guess.

- Travis is holding a battle of the bands, you have to recruit bands from around the commonwealth to be in the battle. (they would spawn in your settlements or randomly in other places.) You then need to clear an area, build an amphitheater, safely guide Travis and the other judges to the event, then do security for the event (maybe it is attacked by raiders or gunners, etc...) The better and bigger the event is, the more your cut of the gate would be.

And when you repair it, it becomes the Fallout version of the Annoying Fan. Oops, sorry. I meant the Adoring Fan.

I had completely forgotten about that character in New Vegas.
