Real Earth Sky and Moon (Has this been done yet?)

Post » Thu Jun 24, 2010 2:53 am

Working on the Mesogea mod, and I am sure Middle Earth will need this too, so look at it as something for both mods, I am hoping to either make or obtain a mod that replaces the Oblivion sky and moons, with our own moon and night sky. Anyone any ideas?

There's a good list of different ones http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=957424&view=findpost&p=13905887

Yeah from that list the best bets are http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16617 for the stars (although there are other good ones ... I like Brumbeck, but for sparse stars Real Night sky is best)

http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8565 removes the Masser (larger moon) and makes Secunda like Earth moon. Well it makes Masser black - you can still kinda see it.

There are a few other earth moon mods too. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16571 is alright.

Then find a milkyway replacer for nebula Which I found one in http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21945 (you don't have to run CSC just get the dds file).

The real Nasa photos though often don't mesh well with the graphic made stars. That is the best I can think.
