Massive meleeunarmed damage imbalance

Post » Sun Jan 17, 2016 6:28 am

So I have a max stat melee/unarmed char and with a supersledge and grognaks I get 270+41. With a freezing deathclaw gauntlet and brawling arms I do 450+50. that's like 900 with drugs.

Something seems bugged with your character, my Sledge does more than my DCG as long as I have equal ironfist/bigleagues.

Two times whatever you have. Last rank of Big Leagues doesn't give you your 100% more damage. Really it is only 25% more than 3rd perk but each perk removes the damage bonus from the previous perk. It will get fixed eventually, for now try to see if your last save before getting the perk is to far back.

I think they say the last rank doesn't do extra damage. Maybe less than the previous rank?

Not sure myself because when I got it i felt I was doing extra damage and there is the fun animation and chance to remove a head.

Perhaps the damage is there but the game reports the damage incorrectly.

Anyway not that it matters much.

I like melee and put points into associated perks very early.

I haven't gone full rooted though because I prefer to actually cripple the opponent rather than get a chance to knock a weapon out of the hands of the opponent.

it lowers your damage considerably. I think down to base dmg.
