I am quite certain that Mannimarco, once an Altmer, was not a "White Mage". ;)

There is no "white or black" magic. Magic is a tool. That's like saying a knife used to stab someone is a "black knife" while a knife used to cut up potatoes is a "white knife". I'm pretty sure there is no such conversation, and unless you've seen it yourself, or read it on TIL or UESP, I would advise you to not believe it either.

The altmer are a race of yellow skinned elves who have a reputation for their magickal ability. This does not mean that they are all mages, just that they enjoy a reputation for magickal ability. I have not heard or read any mention of [insert color] mages. Perhaps you simply heard from a FF11 addict?

I know he thought Altmer were White Mages, I'm just saying there is no such thing as a White Mage or a Black Mage.

Also I was telling him not to buy it unless he actually saw it in game or something...

Morrowind is still in stores. You can buy it in a three pack that includes expansions.

That wasn't even english

I've looked everywhere and am yet to find anything mentioning a "white mage"... Do you have any idea where you heard it?

Edit: There's some clothes in Oblivion that mention "white mage" -> http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Special:Search?search=white+mage&nsnum=-1&redirs=1

I'm going to close this. It has no apparent connection to lore, and the OP has not provided an example to support his question.
