There is a glitch with the U.S.S. Constitution mission that is driving me up a wall. Please oh please oh please help!
I started the mission and ran through it with no problems. I didn't do anything weird, or off the wall. The problem lies at the end of the quest when you are supposed to "defend" the ship (this is after you have gathered all parts and fixed all things). I kill the scavengers. I go through the ship and make sure no one is in there. I go through all of the surrounding buildings and areas. I go over by where the scavengers are. I kill the leader Mandy, and one other person. I go through that building and surrounding area. When I go back up to the top deck, Captain Ironsides says some weird little blurb. The quest section tells me I need to defend the ship still, even though there is no one left to kill. Anywhere.
I have gone through the buildings, the entire ship, the surrounding areas, and everything else at least 20 times. At least. Seriously, there are no people left. The markers for the mission keep telling me to go INSIDE the ship to defend it. I am telling you there is no one there. I've searched every nook and cranny a billion times over. I have restarted the ps4. I have left to do more missions and gone back. I have fast traveled and gone back. It still directs me inside the ship and wants me to defend it. The robots inside the ship are still in defense mode as they keep blabbing, "defending the ship". It will not register that I have completed it so that I can move on to complete the next step to send the ship off and receive this awesome gun I keep hearing about.
C'mon, Bethesda. I bought two Fallout 4 games. One game, and one pipboy collector's edition. I also got the Vault Dweller's Survival Guide. Help a sister out.
