Thanks for the info, I was afraid I would be unable to get the better scaled ones if I took them all too soon.
I didn't know about this feature, especially after visiting some Power Armor places numerous times and finding nothing new. It is good to know that you won't get locked out of the better armors if you stumble at a location to soon.
I hate power armor level scaling in game! totaly breaks immersion . Fallout shoud not be fantasy MMO like game.
Interesting. I have never noticed power armor locations to re-spawn. I am thinking of locations where the frame was just standing there waiting for me to get into it. Those, to my knowledge, have never re-spawned.+
edit: at level 62, I have 10 frames, and have only bought 1. I haven't made it a priority to go looking for them, though..
I guess it doesn't work if you move the frame cause this frame I took at the beginning of the game never respawned hundreds of hours later... I guess if you want power armor pieces to respawn never enter the frame.
I haven't seen that happen, but I have seen power armor in the wasteland change from T-45 to X-01 after I got above level 50. I found a partial set of T-45 in the back of a truck trailer. I just grabbed the core and left. When I later came back many levels later it was a partial set of X-01.
Think on my next play through I'll complete that partial set when I start the game and see if the whole thing will change to X-01 later in the game.
This is true in the prydwen I took all pieces of a bos pa frame and the core then sold the pieces and they keep reapearing but i can't take the pieces so its more than likely just a glitch
I've had PAs respawn, but only when I got tired of wandering back and forth across barren wasteland. I did some looking around regarding respawns - turns out that world entities have a (in-game) week long respawn, but if you get within their loading distance, the timer resets, meaning players that swear off fast travel screw themselves by constantly resetting the respawn timers of the world. Honestly, this is kind of bull$#!%, and practically makes mods that drastically lower respawn timers mandatory for non-fast travel players.
