i don't get it you'r saying that they are trying to teach the player to be good or he'll wind up a skeleton? is that it?

Just aboout everyone outside of Thras will end up a skeleton eventually.

isnt there a childs skeleton in the si somewhere

Yes, I believe it is being held by a statue somewhere, possibly in a fort. But as I'm on a computer with an older verson of Internet Explorer at the moment, and I'm gonna be going soon, I'm afraid I can't track it down for you at the moment.

No, the story of nackles that was refrenced by the OP is meant to be an incentive. A moral story told to children for the purpose of giving them an incentive to be good. Like santa claus, only the punishment is pain and suffering instead of coal.

Please be aware that the story of nackles is just a story, and should be assumed to be a cultural fairy tale with no basis in the reality of the TES series. The child skeleton in cursed mine is entirely a coincendence, and without dev confirmation can not be linked in any way to nackles.

they dont look like bosmer bones

And niether do the bones of that one Akaviri race look like that mentioned Akaviri race, in that one Akaviri fort. (Sorry, I don't remember any specific names right now.)It's just the game engine. They're not going to create a new race model just for the sake of the bones. But that's besides the point of this thread...

I'm going to go with ambience. Just like there are the skeletons of the Night Mother and her children in her tomb.
