One thing I wish I could do in FO4 is to sort my inventory by New or Latest Acquired. Many times, especially when exploring a hot area, I take a "sweep now, look later" stance. Unfortunately, when "later" comes, I end up trying to figure out which Misc items are the new ones I just picked up. If I could get the New to bubble up to the top, that would be quite helpful.
While we're at it, it would also be helpful if I could put away "quest" items where, as far as I know, I have clearly finished the quest. If the quest is still open (or if I have somehow picked up an item for a quest I haven't yet encountered), please give me some indication of which quest it is. Even a cryptic clue would help. I carry enough junk stuff as it is. I'd love to clean up that Misc tab. I'm just grateful that most Misc items have zero weight.
Ok, one more -- wouldn't it be nice to sort armor by body part or function? Or to have filters? Or, perhaps, a "Search" function? Weapons, too, now that I think of it.
