Is fallout 4 more stable then skyrim? Crash to desktop wise?

Such threads make only sense if tests are only made without mods and with stable hardware. I have about 400 hours with FO4 and had one CTD on my notebook. The reason was pretty sure that time actually not the game but me running other demanding 3D applications in the background (Unity).

So yes the game is very stable imo.

I've had more crashes in FO4 and endless loading screens than in Skyrim but it should be noted that my GPU is pretty far below min recommended specs(HD6850 1 GB). Still, 4 CTD and 3 ELS in 200+ hrs isn't bad at all.

I'm not sure if specs play in that factor or not..

If not then that's still great.

Specs, of course, play a role. But the bluescreen issue with Skyrim was a rather widespread problem at release.
