I actually wondered who boarded up all the buildings... Do feral ghouls have health and safety regulations to adhere to?
The modders will hopefully fix this and bring the game up to current gen standards with regards to this issue.
The game already surpasses current gen standards. You can easily see this by comparing to any other game on the market and trying to find one that has hundreds or thousands of interactive objects in a complex world environment where you can pretty much go anywhere you want at anytime.
People need to stop bringing up Witcher 3 as that game is nowhere near the complexity of a BGS game. Making a game where you are forced to play a single character is nothing like making a game where you allow the player to create their own character out of a huge number of possibilities.
OP, as for stuff like boarded up buildings, they actually make the world far more believable. It's after a global nuclear war. It's a totally different context than a medieval fantasy.
First of all, kudos on the grammar. Second of all what does this have to do with The Witcher? Yes the Red Engine 3 handles the world rendering in a different way then the Creation Engine, but the engines set out to do different things, as did the developers. GOTY is not relevant to you wanting more spaces to explore in the Commonwealth, or beeing tired of seeing Super Mutants that look alike *cough* Drowners *cough*.
Heh, that's a good point. Were people expecting an attack and boarded up their windows as a safety precaution? They sure looked like they were caught by surprise in F4.
Some posts have gone away. Don't insult other members. Some of you ought to know better by now.
That was a rather disjointed rant.
Wow, Witcher 3 did something. That must mean that Fallout needs to do the same thing.
Because it's an overplayed game mechanic that offers no real advantage in combat, makes little sense compared to the real world, and only serves to look cool.
I didn't say it was irrelevant. I said it was disjointed....brah.
You know absolutely nothing about my experience with weaponry or combat, so you shouldn't presume that you do.
I absolutely see flaws in the game. But if you think posting some disjointed internet slang mess of words is helping to make this game better, then good luck with that.
You guys think he really talks like this in real life? I wonder if he knows what "caricature" means.
I think caricature is the most apt term here. This is like a bad attempt at pretend stereotypical jive...much in the sense of the scene from Airplane where the old lady steps in to say "Stewardess? I speak jive."

I've made numerous comments on these forums and elsewhere about how I feel that the game could be improved. I don't feel a need to repeat them here. These are not million dollar ideas. More explorable buildings - generic idea that will probably happen anyway. Different super mutant faces...would be nice I suppose, but I honestly don't care. Dual wielding - I wouldn't even use it.
Must not be paying much attention in witcher 3, there are quite a few buildings that you can't go into. Almost every one? not even close.
This is going nowhere good, too many personal remarks despite a moderator intervention.
