As with 3 and NV, I have tens of thousands and nothing to spend it on. The vendors inventories never refresh, and valuable loot is as common as trash. And as with previous Fallouts, now that I have no motivation to scavenge, open safes, loot non-legendary enemies etc, it's reduced my enjoyment. You would think by now that would have made a change. The game is still great though.

At level 27, and have roughly 14,000 caps. I'd have more, except I keep buying ammo all the time. Currently stocking up on ammo for a plasma rifle I have yet to use. Eventually I make the switch to energy weapons. Seems fitting since my character is with the POS BOS.

Well over 100k. I've long stopped picking up most items - personally useful items, and ammo, are the only things I hold onto now.

I still technically pick up guns most of the time, because that Skyrim bug is still present where cells will eventually have their floors littered with 'em (they don't despawn/reset when the corpses do). But I usually just stuff them into a desk or something before I leave.

67k, level 66.

I HAVE invested a lot into my settlements, however. The money is just pouring in now. Oh and I've been scrapping all pipe weapons and raider gear for a long time in order to be able to build up my settlements beyond the initial limits.

When bartering I never leave without being in the positive from the exchange.

It does make me wonder how he isn't hunted down everywhere he goes with all of those rattling caps.
