Right in front of your eyes, things just start self destructing. I had it happen to me in The Slog.

Has anyone else had this happen? I found a video another player posted on youtube. But neither of us know why it's happening.

Yep, I've seen it. It also happened to me at the Slog. I've put in over 500 hours into the game and have only seen it that one time though so I'm not too concerned about it, but yeah it is weird.

Did it happen right after you arrived? It could have been the results of an attack that happened while you were away, with the scripts taking a little time to catch up and assign the damage when you showed up ... much like NPCs might just stand there when you first arrive at a place until the game gets around to animating each one in turn.

This has been covered in hundreds of threads but their is a bug that does not tell you about settlement attacks when you fast travel and you automatically fail all settlement attacks you are not their for no matter what defenses you have and no matter how easy to kill the attackers are. The only 2 defences for this are: never fast travel and go to all settlements that are being attacked so the turrets will work or break down your turrets and stop caring about your settlements.

Have had equipment destroyed after attacks and then having it repair itself while I look at it something who looks weird. two water pumps knocked down and poops up again. destroyed plants are restored then you turn back.
