I think Bethesda might be able to do a great 'non-earth' DLC

this time :D

I know that most people didn't like Mothership Zeta too much... but seeing the landscape and the atmosphere in the Glowing Sea, they seem to have improved a lot on creating areas that look like they're from another planet.

I'm sure if they would make a DLC that takes place on the moon or on another planet, it might turn out very entertaining this time.

And with all the lasers, plasma and sci-fi stuff, it would actually fit the Fallout universe.

Was there already any 'lore', that told us if people made it to the moon and maybe Mars in the Fallout timeline?

Would you like to see a DLC like that? ^^

Why don't we just get a gun that shoots rainbows and ride unicorns while we magicly go to space without any astronaut equipment to let us brethe in space (that is inexplicably air tight after 200 years) or rocket fuel in a somehow fully functioning space ship while their is absolutely nothing to do or kill on the moon or any other planet in our solar system anyway and rename "Fallout" "ridiculously unrealistic: the vidiogame"

(I went with sarcasm on that speech option)

what's wrong with having space suits?

and having a story, where your space station runs out of oxygen and you have to get somewhere, to be able to fly back to earth?

and why does it always have to be '200 years' after? ^^

use your imagination :D

we already had a DLC with operation anchorage, where you experienced the memories from someone else, from the past

I also think it might be very atmospheric and sad to play an astronaut on the moon and seeing all the explosions in 2077 from space, while realising everything might be gone, when you actually come back

There is mention of the mission to Mars and setting up a Mars colony in that one building, so it wouldn't surprise me that we would go to Mars.

Not saying I think it'd be great or anything, but it wouldn't surprise me since the 'setup' is basically already in the game.

I guess their could be a space station you are trying to keep from hitting Boston to make a reason to actually do this. Just so much more to explore on earth, why space? We have already been there and it was a bad DLC.

I hope not. I play Fallout to explore an open world post apocalyptic society, not go out into space or to other planets to deal with aliens, which hundreds of other games already do.

No offense, OP, but if I want to play a game set in space, I'll play the plethora of space-related games (the most obvious being Mass Effect.) This series is about life after a global nuclear war. If there is a DLC that branches out to other places, why not a DLC that explores a different country, see how they're handling the apocalypse.

Return to Fallout 4
