Being ignored by support....

Post » Mon Jan 18, 2016 1:42 am

Anyone else found the support people really and utterly unhelpful?

They have ignored my issues, given me only copy and paste responses, and haven't resolved my issue [http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1582950-cant-interact-with-certain-characters/%5D.

Their last basically said we're not helping, don't forget to fill out the feedback form...... Incredibly annoyed and let down.

Anyone else getting this treatment?

Might be because the interaction issue you are having needs to be address by a patch update which should be beyond the scope of the help desktop responsibilities.

Bethesda tech Support does not reply on the forum, if that's what you were expecting.

The forum is for the community to discuss topics and help each other.

Just expected more. They never asked for any more information, didn't ask a single question about the issues. I got two copy and paste replies that didn't relate to my issue at all, as if they never read my ticket in the first place. And the other copy and paste replies were utterly unhelpful and insulting.

I expected more from a reputable company.

No I wasn't expecting them to reply here, however leaving it up to the community to help eachother and fix their game is sickening. What I'm hoping for is another way to contact them that will elicit a proper and human response.

They're support team is pretty crappy. I've not once gotten a viable solution from support tickets for any game, just a long winded copy and paste about 'turn it off and turn it on again'. In fact I'm convinced there is no support team and just an automated system that replies the same message always.

Forum moderators, however, are on the ball. I expect this will be locked before your problem is solved.

I rang them once and only got a very RUDE receptionist.. EA calls me back immediately EVERY time with a helpful person to talk to.

If you have raised an actual "ticket" with support it may take them a few days to get back to you.

You posted this on the 13th of January 2016.

We're conditioned to expecting to have things our way, right away... and this really causes issues for video gamers.

Wednesday, 14/01/16 there were some XBox LIVE issues and Snoop Doggy Dog coldn't get online and took to Twitter to tell Bill Gates what he thought of these unreasonable delays (Google it if you dare, he's a potty mouth).

So you're having some trouble with "Fallout 4" a recent and popular game chances are you'll get some fellow player support as well as an eventual reply from the Bethedsa Tech Guys.

Hope your issue is sorted out soon.

Let us know how you get on.

I have indeed submitted a ticket, the responses to which lead me to post here asking if there is any other way to get a proper response from Bethesda. And as you can see from the link I provided my fellow gamers, alas, do not have a fix for me for this particular issue.

In fact I have discovered that the problem exists with Geneva in the Mayors Office also. Thus rendering it impossible to buy Homeplate in Diamond City.

I thought they did, or maybe I'm mistaken Tech Support for Devs, but I'm sure I seen one or two on occasion in the support sections.

I've sent emails to the 'General Inquiries' address asking simply for a contact email to the Arkane Studios based in Lyon. All I want is the ability to have that dialogue with an email address as the one on their site is not showing when you click on 'Contact us'.

Every time I do send an email I get a generic form email back from Bethesda telling me to lodge a ticket for the game in question or to check out these forums for help on these game issues.

Calls have achieved nothing and are expensive (I live in New Zealand).

I guess after reading this thread it isn't an isolated case, any and all queries and asks for help get limited to no response.

So thanks for affirming my suspicions I guess, I'm sorry I can't help the issue and can only pile on.
