content for the season pass

any update regarding what this is? or when we will get it?

Here's what I'd like to see:

1. new lands to explore

2. new enemies to fight

3. an update for settlements

4. A new quest line for a new faction (separate from the main story line)... And not just radiant quests! These factions would have deep, highly scripted quests...

5. Some old enemies return: Giant Ants? Where are they? Robo-brains? Where are they?

6. Some new enemies too

7. An overhaul of the 'your settlement is under attack!' mechanic. Settlements should be able to defend themselves and have a chance to repel invaders! I didn't build turrets everywhere for nothing!

Uhm... the game hasn't even been out 2 months yet. Be patient! And God! No more giant ants. They were annoying as all get out in NV.

To address:

1) New Lands? I'm assuming you mean the rest of New England, yes? Maybe Martha's Vinyard, someplace in Maine? I would save places like Jersey & NYC for a full game of their own myself.

2) Agree. There really isn't that much variety in F4

3) Yup. New items to build maybe? New defenses? New settlement zones?

4) A new faction? What's left? Maybe a more in-depth Minute-Man questline? Just no raider questlines. No psycho questlines. Maybe something more along the lines of Trade or even a Khan's like thing (like NV?). Maybe a rogue BoS faction like they had in F3 and NV?

5) No giant ants! I repeat! No giant ants! Robo-brains? That I can get in to.

6) Yes, you already said that as #2

7) Agree completely.

I like the update to Mirelurks, but, so many MoleRats! And the stingwings are just stupid. On the plus side, at least there's moer variety in the Mirelurks. That I do like.

Maybe because they focused on listening the requests of annoying fans who want the same crap every [censored] game. I want to be surprised with new stuff, not with the same enemies every time, it doesn't help that raiders, super mutants, ghouls, boatflies, deathclaws and mirelurks are not new, but they are the most common enemies you will encounter once again. While the new ones are now incredibly rare. But yeah it's true this game not only has more diverse variety on enemies but each type has a lot of different forms and kinds.

Bethesda has to learn to ignore these two kinds of people, the obsidian fans because they will hate everything done by Bethesda no matter what, and the people who request to bring back old stuff because they will ruin the game and the experience for those of us who want new stuff.

I don't mind the old stuff, nostalgia, ya know, but, I agree. New stuff would have been great too. I mean, honestly, why are the same things showing up in Boston that you got in Washington and Nevada. I didn't even know they had scorpions in Washington or Boston to mutate! How about some more appropriate fauna?

It's good enough. I bought the pass, should save me $15 or so. ;) I have all the DLCs for all the 3D games, so it was inevitable.

I feel that is best in a game on its own. Nothing wrong with maybe having a DLC maybe somewhere in New York State or Vermont and having a faction from Ronto in the area and maybe looking to invade into the Commonwealth.

I do not think another metropolis would work that well in a smaller DLC. It somewhat worked with the Pitt but it still lacked a lot and I felt it would have been better as a stand alone game.

I suspect one of the DLC will be focused around The Abbey of the Road in upper New York state.

It will be the "The Pitt" of Fallout 4.

Just as Fallout 3 made Philly a ruinous dump with nothing interesting going on in it, and instead made Pittsburgh the "big" post-0war city of Pennsylvania. Albany NY will be the "big" post-war city of New York State, and NYC itself will be nothing more then a mutant infest hellhole with nothing really going on.

Yeah I guess they will put the iconic enemies in all games and come up with an explanation later. But you are right about the appropiate fauna, what's the point of changing settings if we are going to see the same stuff. I don't even need to see the other areas to know they have muties, radscorpions, deathclaws, molerats, feral ghouls, raiders, boatflies, brahmin, mirelurks, and all these will have priority during development over anything new.

At least the DLC will fix this, if it wasnt for the fact that people keep asking for old enemies that weren't included. I am afraid the DLC will bring cazadores, robobrains, chinese assault rifle, nightkin, geckos, the ants, and three dog. :brokencomputer: fallout community just wants to keep playing the same [censored] game forever.
