First of all, I just wanted to wish all of you a merry Christmas/happy holidays!

Secondly, it's a while since I've been on here, but some of you may remember the many in-depth theories I posted an here in the weeks and months leading up to release. You know, the ones that caused a huge amount of controversy on the forum, and then turned out to be completely wrong!!!

Well, I have a question for you. Out of all the ideas I put forward, were there any you would like to have seen in the vanilla game, or perhaps even added in the form of DLC or even mods? Also, do you think any of my suggestions would have improved the experience over what we were given in the final release?

I can't recall all of your theories off the top of my head at 6:30 AM on a christmas morning, but I recall there were some good ones that would have been cool to see.

I remember your "Glowing Sea" thread, it's basically the only time I've posted about anything in these forums for years.


It turned out that the Glowing Sea wasnt the actual sea, but besides from that I remember theories that 100% went into the game.


I dont remember what anyone else said but I got inspired by the thread and I said that off the coast of Boston there would be a Chinese Nuclear Submarine, and that there was gonna be a quest related to saluaging or restoring som of it's technology.


There was a Chinese Nuclear Chinese Submarine in the game, and there was a quest were you restored it so it'd aid you with airstrikes.


Idk what else was said in your theory threads, but my impression from it, and the theories I was involved in "spreading" turned out to be true, the only thing that was wrong was that we said the glowing sea might be the actual sea, but the content was there.


I also elaborated on the "under water base" theory, and judging from the harpoon gun, now a lot of ppl think this might be a upcoming DLC.

I also tried to find the threads and my pre-cognitve posts after the game got out, but they seem gone, erased?

Merry festive season, but with respect I don't remember reading any of your theories, though it seems that some were aparently taken up. Playing this game, I am currently intent on exploring the possibilities of what can be done, the surprise discoveries, such as in Chemistry and what new things can be discovered there, also in respects of farming production that is different from the obvious.

Anyway this game is great and the many different ways to do things differently, is perfect for such explorations.

I was disappointed that the Ghoulification theory turned out to wrong, its a shame since adding the ability to become a ghoul should lead to a unique game experience.

I remember the Glowing Sea debate as well and yeah I think that I was among those that pointed out the Glowing Sea wasn't an actual sea....which is a shame really since underwater combat as you stomped along in power armor would have been have been good.

I did have one of those pop-up messages that you can join/become a ghoul, not sure it said both, but it was at least join them.

You were wrong?? I dont remember anything of that nature.. I do seem to recall you were the only one with the balls to post Ideas about what was coming in the game, and back it up with pretty well laid out reasons why. Ohh I just saw this is general thread and had to retract about 3 paragraphs uhh lets just say...... Many of your Ideas did pan out maybe not exactly but close enough to be scary. ( A certain few someones returning was damn straight)

Ya the glowing sea was a heartbreaker for me sure its still good, but the waters really going to waste and yours would ave been so much better.

Ehh I am still playing myself ( I am trying to force myself to work with a faction I have always disliked..... it is not going so well typecast roleplayer hehe, maybe I should try my female ss run instead heh ). I just pop on to not lose my account now and then hehe

I'm not sure what you mean since they are not faction (so you cannot join them) and you cannot become a ghoul anyway in Fallout 4.

As for the theories - I'm not even close to finishing the game. I stick to my intention to take it really slow with my first playthrough, as I can have it only once...
