Fallout 4 "Preparations for the future"

Post » Mon Jan 18, 2016 6:47 pm

Hello everyone!

I want to introduce some of my thoughts too!

We all love the Fallout, and also - Bethesda games.

But... I dunno, i don't see much "freedom" in Fallout 4 (it done pretty good, but it can be better)

Probably, why we can't:

- Become a modified being as Kellog? With implants and same. If im with Instute - i wanna to be like him!

- Clone/Ressurect the our Spouse with power of Institute technologies?

- Replace the elder Maxson with synth and capture the Brotherhood inside?

- Save the railroad (use some people and put em through reconstructive surgery, kinda makin a doppelg?ngers) and capture the Institute for em as Director?

- Design our own synth squad? And use it like minutemen forces with flare gun.

- Create our customizable squad from Settlers and summon them with same way? (And equip em like we want to)

- Make our own "pryde" (troop team) with Brotherhood?

- Create our own robots/synths (the same way like we do with power armor, but with development quests and etc, idk how to say that, my english is pretty bad)

- Convert pacified enemies (raiders and gunners and etc) into settlers?

- be a mayor of Diamond City?

- create a base from vault 111?

- create a bordello in settlement? ._. Or create a drug shipments?

- create from settlements & settlers a Military Organisation? (Fallout 4 OUTER HEAVEN from Metal Gear Solid, lol)

- become a mad/psycho/sociopath? Idk, sole survivor must have some damage on his Mental State after "walking" into a POST-NUCLEAR world. It might affect on his dialogue replicas at all!

Also:

- What about aliens? Fallout 3 experience was great! I hope in F4 it will be much better!

- Battles in air, kinda shootin another flyin' vehicles from vertibird. Kinda shootin vertibirds from vertibirds, jetpack tropps and etc (So bad, what enclave was destroyed, that one were pretty powerfull enemy, it is pretty nice candidature for that)

- i did say about aircraft, but what about water/underwater stuff?

- maybe... More giant enemies?

- more models of power armor? Also visuals (models i mean) for upgrades? (Visible Tesla coils like on enclave power armor from F3)

- hardcoe MODE like in Fallout: New Vegas?

- More mods for weapons and more weapons too

- More interactions between NPC and settlers? More dialogues between them, drunken brawls and etc, quests for NPC happiness, kinda help someone with drug addiction or love problems and etc

- i want to be feared of becoming ghoul, a true ghoul, kinda if i am irradiated for week - i am becoming a ghoul, with no return. It will make a sense for use a Radaway and Rad-x.

- more diseases?

- also, human meat drop if sole survivor is a cannibal

- maybe... tortures? Torturing raders or enemy factions' members... Like it were in Skyrim...

- more animations for melee fight and more finishers?

- book magazines with fighting styles for unarmed fight? (It will be funny to make some karate in power armor)

- concrete walls?

- more food recipes, and advanced food effects for character (i eat only Deathclaws and supermutants, it must have an effect on Sole Survivor)

- Control settlements from pip-boy (pip-boy app, i mean)

P.S

Sorry, my english is pretty bad

Also - sorry if my ideas are annoying or stupid

Anyway i have a rogut for few words, maybe, cause i am Bethesda fan for 10 years at all

I would like to see the armor and weapons degradation system added back in Fallout 4 in a patch.

I wouldn't expect anything that effects the main factions due to the way the storylines play out. Likewise, becoming a ghoul, simply becuase Bethesda wouldn't be able to write a satisfactory in game response to you being one.

Get a mod (Though you'd have to get the game first instead of just complaining about every little aspect) , because I and many others certainly do not want this.

Then make not having it an easy mode option.

Plus, console players can't get mods.

I'm not going to download a mod to have the armor and weapons degradation system brought back, when I can use that time to download new armor mods, new buildings mods, etc. Or us that time to create my own mods.

If Bethesda Game Studios adds the armor and weapons degradation system back into Fallout 4 then I will purchase Fallout 4.

I play on survival, I just hated the whole mechanic.

And they will. Or at least Xbox one players will, I think it's still up in the air on whether Bethesda and Sony have reached an agreement yet.

And @Ballowers100, they didn't add it back for Skyrim. They aren't going to add it back now. As I recall, it's not even a Fallout mechanic, just a Fallout3/NV one anyways.

I will never miss having to pick up every-single-HUNTING-RIFLE-I-SEE!! Just to keep my blasted one repaired. I think it's one feature they were right to do away with.

Amen!

Or even worse when you get Xuanlong at a fairly low level, and there hardly are any Chinese Assault Rifles around...

There are plenty of fish, they are just really, really good at hiding.

I keep saying how Bethesda Game Studios could of improved the armor and weapons degradation system in Fallout 4 instead of removing it completely, but it seems people ignore what I say.

Bethesda Game Studios can improve it by making you repair your armor and weapons at a workbench instead of in the middle of a battlefield magically. Sharp bladed weapons that dull cam get sharpened at a grindstone.

I also said to make the durability of the armor and weapons go down slower. If you have a leather piece of armor it should got from 100% to 99.9% after it gets puncture holes or slashes after every 300 or so strikes.

Firearms should jam and overheat after ever like 500+ rounds shot. Decayed wood should make the butt stock of a firearm break off after about I don't know 200+ or so uses?

I'm pretty sure anyone would like a armor and weapons degradation system this way, way more than the old ways that they were.

All excellent points and I agree.

I also think we don't need the system. I don't miss it at all but if you do then there are bound to be others, so a mod isn't out of the question, likely if anything. I guess they thought having it optional would render it 'cheap' as you could just turn it off so just opted to remove it completely.

Don't take it too personally, nobody is ignoring 'you', just a random post on a forum that they don't completely agree with, it isn't possible to ignore 'you' because 'you' are not there to ignore.
