I'm having a problem with certain items I think that MCA has put into the game. Certain drinks, such as Comberry Wine and others, and a common robe taken from a MCA npc aren't labelled in english, but just a bunch of cyrillic like characters. Does anyone know how to get rid of this?

Sounds like one of your mods is for the Russian version of MW. This happens to a lot to people that get CanadianIce's robe replacer off a Russian site and use it with an English version of MW. The usual fix is to get the English version of the robe replacer.

The original MCA made for English version does not have this problem.

The robes are fine now. I did get a bottle texture and mesh replacer from a russian site. May or may not have included an esp. Will ingame names only be changed if it's a russian esp?

To Russian, yes, as far as I know. There are other ways to garble the displayed names of things, as happens sometimes with bugs that cause memory corruption.
