Edit: With a screw driver and a little bit of tinkering it's fixed a mod can lock this thread now.

Exchange it for another one. My best advice. If that one doesn't work, then I have no clue.

Try to exchange it anyway, there should be a 30 day guarantee

Is it a 3rd party brand? Like turtle beach or mad catz? Those tend to be crappier. Otherwise then just use your warranty and get a new one, sadly there isnt much to say other than it must just be a bad mic, it happens
