Inventory value vs. actual sell value

Post » Tue Jan 19, 2016 4:38 pm

Hi. Im i bit confused by this. When i see youtube videos, these values are the same. But, when i try to sell an item, it has MUCH less value.. Often more than half. What going on? Thanks.

I'm not so sure why this is, though I believe I know what you are talking about. I will have a Legendary weapon that, in my Inventory, will say it's worth hundreds of caps, but then when I go to sell it, it goes for even less. Wish I knew, too...

The inventory value is the real value of the item. The prices you can sell it at can change depending on your charisma, perks, and your relationship with the NPC. If you want better prices increase your charisma by wearing those ridiculous outfits or drink something to increase your charisma. So the price can go down or up starting from the original price, that is the one that appears in your inventory.
