Original or Director's Cut? They remade them completely in DC, you don't have to kill them "personally" in it ;)

 Even the developers themselves admitted the original's boss fights were [censored] stupid.

I got past it, but it entirely killed my interest in the game. I'm glad boss fights are fixed now.

The second Skyrim book is released this February I think. I have the first two ESO and the first Skyrim book and I think they're worth the price (also discounted) for a TES collector, although all the texts are available online and in the games. I've always wanted to read the game books outside the games and they've made a good job with this series: the material of the cover, the thick paper and the illustrations are nice quality. But I agree, we need more original novels.

I hope they fixed the accuracy issue of the first game, honestly it was if you hired blind stormtroopers.

I wasn't interested in XCOM 2 until I watched TotalBiscuit's video with the development build. The character customization alone is worth it to me.

Yeah, No Man's Sky... Seems almost like a more science fictiony, space ship oriented version of Morrowind in a sense. I'm actually usually not interested in games that center upon space ships, because they almost always seem to be more about ship combat than exploration, and because you can't leave the ship, and can't immersively realistically travel from planet to planet. After a long time of having intense apathy for games- because lets be frank, Call Of Duty like games, as well as Generic Fantasy games are numerous, those two by far seem to be the most popular. Now- there's nothing wrong with those types of games or liking them. I'm just personally simply not into those two genres.

The gaming stuff mostly on my mind is No Man's Sky, possible future mods for Morrowind and Skyrim, a hypothetical Daggerfall remake by Bethesda themselves- yeah yeah I know almost positively not gonna happen, and Elder Scrolls 6... And Dishonored 6 and Deus Ex Mankind Divided. That's what's first and foremost in my mind.

I like No Man's Sky because I've been for so long wanting an open world game, but one where you can make a character whose oriented more for mobility and exploration than just combat. I'm a bit interested in Elite Dangerous, but much more so No Man's Sky.

I kickstarted Torment, Kingdom Come:Deliverance, and That Which Sleeps, so I'm cautiously optimistic about those. Right now, I have the most hope for KCD. Torment might be great, but I'm keeping my expectations low.

And I didn't even realize Dishonored 2 was coming out until reading this thread, That's another one that I'm excited for.

XD

As vaultboyt3 mentioned, there are playable demos of many of the modules, so it isn't vaporware. I trust Chris Roberts to deliver...the guy knows what he's doing. They're not messing around with the story-driven campaign either. They recently announced some of the cast...notables include Gary Oldman, Gillian Anderson, Mark Hamill, John Rhys-Davies, and Andy Serkis (does this guy just hang out at mo-cap studios waiting for work? :P). It looks like they're using some really cutting-edge motion/face capture tech for the actors/characters as well. Sounds like Roberts is going all-out on this...pretty interesting.

Yeah, it's a really cool addition. I did customize some soldiers in the first game as the characters i use in games with character creation, but rarely i got the gender/specialization/nationality combination i wanted :hehe:
With this one i'm going to have a field day ^_^

The number of voices available (and in many languages) was absolutely astounding.

Whoa! That ambushed me completely. Dragon's Dogma's PC version is getting released in just few hours :o

The PS3 version was quite amusing with awesome giant monster fights. If the porting is any good, that one is a no-brainer.

In defense of Star Citizen, I finally caved last week and got the alpha. I have to say while (like any alpha) it's buggy and crash-y as a [censored], it delivers the features they've talked about and shown off for months now. The infrastructure is clearly there, and it does fundamentally work.

People can groan about the development time, but as I see it the game hasn't even reached the average AAA or MMO development duration yet, let alone exceeded it. The difference is that they didn't develop it in secret for years before announcing it, so it seems like it's taking forever when by development standards it's actually moving unusually fast and largely on-schedule.

No Purse-owner 5? :P

I really wish Atlus would cough up some more info for the game, seeing how we know nothing about it.

Oh, Horizon zero dawn looks kind of interesting, so I'm keeping my eye on that for this year.

There's hardly any information on Purse-Owner that I forgot about it existed! But it will be a first day buy... if I don't forget about it again.

In all honesty, no. I pinned a lot of hopes on Fallout 4, and it let me down. To be honest, it's my own fault. Part of me expected some great successor to FO3 with an epic story, gigantic landscape, and new material to play with. Instead, FO4 felt like a slap in the face.

The new Doom game will be the last game I probably play/look forward to as a gamer. After that, I don't know. I got burned on the Indie scene with Space Base: DF-9, Aliens: Colonial Manure disheartened me to no end, and I just find myself disgruntled and disgusted with the current titles that are pumped out to please the masses. (I'd go a little bit more, but I'll leave it there right now.)

I'm thinking we might get some more info this coming month, but that could just be wishful thinking. >.>

Speaking of which I talked to a GameStop clerk and they said the PS4's VR goggles are set to release somewhere around October. Honestly I can't wait, I hope Battlefront and CoD will get an update to work on it.
