I can't get past the Baby Room : Fallout 3

I recently downloaded this game, GOTY version if it matters, first time into the series, so I was hoping to dive right in. Problem is, I have been getting problems with the game from the very start.

In the beginning, I could't even start the program up, but after fiddling with the options, I got it to play.

Currently the settings are on a low resolution, medium settings, with only one core running.

However, every time I finish choosing a name and face, I leave the room, see the 1 year later sign, and see nothing but white. Music is playing in the background, but that is it. Help,

If you have done everything in the thread I posted, then the only other thing it could be is that your equipment is not up to the challenge of running Fallout 3.

You should have it running on 2 cores ...

This line should be "iNumHWThreads=2"

The line "bUseThreadedAI=1" just means to turn it on , incase thats what you were refering to
