Error 51 3:0000065432

Post » Tue Jan 19, 2016 4:50 pm

So, I get the first error when I launch TES in Steam and the second is connected with Mod Organizer.

I have Windows 7

I played Skyrim for a long time and it worked fine

I have fast Internet connection

Things I have already tried:

>Reinstalling Skyrim

>Reinstalling Steam

>Deleting Resgistry.blob and cleaning steam's registry in general

>Deleting some stuff from Widnows' registry (.../Layers)

>Disabling firewall

>Disabling antivirus (Kaspersky)

>Not participating in any beta crap on Steam

>Not using cloud storage

>Messing around with video drivers

>Running as administrator (TES, TESlauncher, SKSE_loader)

>Looking up interfering programms (couldn't really find anything).

I tried running Windows in safe mode and Skyrim would actually work (well, the laucnher at least - safe mode, you know). This aslo resolved Steam client not displaying store, community, etc. Someone suggested aslo trying to enable programs one by one to find out which one causes the problems. How do I do that?

Maybe important points:

1. I have recently changed my router (tp-link), however the game worked while used it.

2. I don't have Skyrim installed in my Steam folder, however again the game worked fine.

WHAT ON EARTH CAN POSSIBLY BE WRONG?

Through a clean boot procedure: http://support.turbine.com/link/portal/24001/24047/Article/4096/How-do-I-perform-a-Clean-Boot-of-Windows

Thanks for the idea! But... I wasn't able to apply it correctly becuase when I disabled services (nope, I didn't touch Miscros) the config window just freezed (I waited for ~20 minutes) and nothing would happen. Moreover, I spent a deal of time resolving issues with many Windows services not working correctly after restarting my PC.

Well, the question concerning the clean boot is - should I wait even longer or is there something wrong?

DIsable all but Steam service and anti-malware. Dont touch MS services NON MS services only.

Clear all start up apps too.

I found the way to perform clean boot - manually disabling services in "services" windows while checking if they are non-MS in MSConfig window. Plus I switched off all start up processes. Well, otherwise the MSconfig window would just freeze (this time I tried waiting for 11 hours).

So, in the upshot - the problem is still present!

SHouldn't be behaving like that.

Something deeper is wrong possibly. You may need to run MSCONFIG as admin.

In a clean boot environment:

DL this program. https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/processixplorer.aspx

Install and run as admin. Under the view menu make sure the show lower pane is checked and the dlls option is checked below that.

Start the launcher and select it in the top pane of PE. THere should be a list of dll files in the lower pane.

CLick the save button and save it to the desktop. Open the textfile in notepad and copy and paste the contents here in spoiler tags.

I have, what seems to be, the same issue as SteamMan although I'm on Windows 10 Home (64bit). I've started the machine up with minimal services and still get the same error message.

About that msconfig freeze thingie.

Make a SFC /scannow on a elevated DOS prompt.

After make a HDD checkdisk. (Windows HDD check should be okay)

If that doesn't solve your msconfig freeze: restart your computer in safe mode, and start msconfig again.

Are there any programs running, that it shouldn't?

Disable those, and start your computer normally again, and try to make a clean boot again!

I think something is wrong with MO, so try to reinstall Skyrim and launch the game without having MO installed. If you think something is NOT wrong with MO then ask yourself, how could you even run Windows and Skyrim in safe mode.

However, there is another thing that could give you exactly the same Steam error as you have now with Skyrim.

I also play a lot of Total War games with mods and I've seen now and then the same error as you have when playing other TW games, but eventually I solve it by deleting a few mod scripts that weren't completely removed when I uninstalled a TW mod.

Do you play other Steam games and when you're playing them also use mods for those games?
