I dont have polish language - please help (big request)

Post » Tue Jan 19, 2016 10:59 pm

I bought 1 day ago (or so) on greenmangaming 2 keys of your games. First i checked steam and it told me that I will have polish language. I m not experienced in steam versions etc. Bought 2 keys for:

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Legendary Edition and Dishonored - Game of the Year Edition

It was very important for me to has polish version. After activation I can not choose polish language.

I have BIG request. Please help me (i know this is extraordinary situation). Is it possible to do something to change it into polish. GMG dont want to cancel order but maybe you will help me. Is it possible to do something to change it? Options:

1) Help me to get refund and buy it again on steam

2) Change my version on steam into one with polish language (I could buy them on lower price version with polish language - it means I did not wanted to 'save')

3) Give me giveaways with polish versions. Then I will delete my versions and activate right versions).

I know I am asking about big help. But I hope you cen help me to get right version. I did not know that thera are different versions on steam. I thought I will get polish version when steam tell me that I will get it. Now I guess tere are different versions which I did not know. This price is not so low for me and I only want to play it comfortably. My steam profile is:

Please help me.

After you activate it, go to your Steam library and right click Skyrim. Select properties and click the language tab. Try to select your language.

Unfortunately I can not. This is a problem I mentioned. I know that it is extraordinary situation but hope then gamesas can help me. I bought games and can prove it and i have it on my account (what can be checked). I only want to have polish version. For me it can be cancelled/deleted my version and given me right version with polish. I think it did not cost anything someone who made a game...

What options are available in the language section?

Bethesda isn't going to be able to do a refund. They arent the POS.

I would suggest you contact Greenmangaming and even Steam as well.

Can you tell us please what kind of languages are available there?

You have to change the language in steam library/ game properties and choose your desired language. Once you choose Polish (if available) it will download the required files.

Have you done this?

Sorry for a delay (I was absent due to Holidays:) ). I have following languages:

English

Francais

Italiano

Deutsch

Espanol

Chines

Japan

When I am on steam shop page it is told I will have polish one. The same situation was for second game.

I hope someone from Bethesha will help me to change game into polish one version (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Legendary Edition and Dishonored - Game of the Year Edition). I will be very happy. I bought an hopefully will buy many other games but this different language versions was something new for me...

Ps. Today i bought a Fallout 3 New Vegas GOTY and with polish language:)

You bought the Legendary Edition from Greenmangaming. http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/us/en/pc/games/rpgs/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-legendary-edition/

In the supported languages section Im not seeing Polish. Buying directly from Steam is different.

The fact that Steam says the game will support the polish language is different as you are buying from Steam not GMG.

I would contact Greenmangaming first then Steam. See what they can do.

Realize there are different versions that support certain languages.

Yes, now I know. I did not know Bethesha policies with languages. Unfortunately bought 2 keys in the same time ( will not buy the same game twice). Now I have oryginal game but prefer to play in polish. To be honest maybe it is not ok but i will change language by myself changing language files, but I would prefer to do it in normal way... But I will feel ok with this as I did not receive any help from GMG, Bethesha and Steam and I could but polish version for even lower price...

Knowing this I bought Fallout New Vegas GOTY in right way and have polish there.

You need to make sure you know what you're buying. That really isnt GMG, Steam, or Beth fault. The languages are clearly advertised.

I don't believe Bethesda has control over what languages are available in certain areas nor does Steam necessarily. There are laws that are in place.

Not 100% sure though.

I don't say that I did everything good. Just did not know how it works. I thought if I had wrote in steam that it will be polish then it will be polish. I did not know it that time that there are different versions of the same game. Now I know. But anyway it is a little stupid not to give full language option to choose after activation. Now I will not make a mistake again, but I will not remove games for which I paid. If it would be normal game version (not service as steam) I would be able to give or sell it. Now I would need to trash this game and buy it again. I refuse to do it and will use manually changed files to get polish. I feel that I am doing ok as I bought it legally and supported company (and it was not lower then polish version). Now I need to change something manually and maybe to do it not in right way. I hoped that developer/GMG/Steam understand my situation and do something with this and help me(now I will not buy again from GMG in future). I think developer could give me right version and I would delete previous one (I can not give it to anyone anyway). If they don't want to do it I am not happy (It would be nice to help me) and I just need to care for myself be changing language files by myselfs.

If thing the main game - so Skyrim only, has polish support. The DLC's not.

Can you try to download only Skyrim through steam, and check the available language options? (that should be done, at the beginning before you download the game)
