To answer your question, it took me a week to get to the level required to meet him. I only managed to defeat him once. I had to make a full set of Glass armor just to get enough protection. The only reason i beat him was i had high level healing potions/poisons and the Concentrated Poison Perk, just to counter act his Redguard Poison Resistance.
