Carriage driver floating in mid-air

Post » Wed Jan 20, 2016 1:11 am

I had a bug that I didn't think was possible yesterday when Idly playing Skyrim on xbox 360. I started a new game, and when I got to the whiterun stables to do the usually commute to Falkreath, when I discover something quite odd.

The carriage driver (whom I usually have a nice chat with before my commute) was floating in mid-air - about 2-3m - at a 90 degree angle (clockwise), seat and all. His carriage was still on the ground however it did not function beyond allowing me to get in it and out.

I expect this will fix itself, but if you have any suggestions, I'm open to them.

The 'B' in Bethesda is for buggy,

King.

Is that the first carriage from the beggining of the game, or a carriage for traveling in other cities?

Reload an earlier save, before you took the carriage. Go Into Whiterun (walking) let's say from Riverwood.

Enter Whiterun and go inside a building, let's say the Inn. Wait for 31 days (inside), then exit Whiterun and go the carriage. (at the Whiterun stables)

Try to take the carriage again. What happens this time?
